CSP’s Real Estate & Financial Services practice is partnering with a rapidly growing middle market focused investment bank in need of a Vice President, Investment Banking. Our client delivers M&A advisory services to businesses throughout their entire lifecycle, and this position primarily focuses on healthy businesses within the sell-side M&A space.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Principals/Directors to manage the execution of deals.
- Lead the development of confidential information memorandums, pitch books, buyer/investor lists, and financial models.
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of client transactions, including material preparation, buyer/investor outreach, and transaction diligence.
- Review materials, information, and correspondence prepared by junior bankers on engagement teams.
- Interact daily with colleagues, clients, and buyers/investors to gather necessary information, communicate engagement status, and respond to diligence requests.
- Assist other VPs and Directors in assessing and assigning appropriate staffing levels across the group for all engagements.
- Mentor and guide junior bankers in deal execution matters.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of sell-side Investment Banking experience.
- Exceptional financial modeling and business writing skills.
- Superior communication and client service skills.
- Strong desire to focus on engagement execution and training of junior bankers.
- Must be FINRA licensed (Series 63 and Series 7 or 79).
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Availability to work in the office 5 days a week.
